Indiana small claims cover disputes up to $10,000. Marion County has its own Small Claims Court; in other counties, small claims are heard by the Circuit or Superior Court. Attorneys are permitted. Indiana's 6-year statute of limitations for contracts is among the most generous in the country. Filing fees vary significantly by county. Judgments can be enforced through garnishment of wages and bank accounts. Losing parties have a right to appeal.
